Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition
 Who We Are

Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition is a community-based 501 (c) (3) nonprofit established in 1992 to solve the critical social issue of older adults living alone without family or friends to help assist them with activities crucial to their independence so they can remain in their homes.

Our mission is to provide accessible transportation and programs, through volunteer services, to support adults in need of assistance to maintain their independence and quality of life at home.

Over 250 volunteers provide assistive services that include: transportation to medical and other appointments, rides to the grocery store, shopping, and other errands, business assistance such as bill paying and sorting, and handy person help. Volunteers also provide respite assistance to in-home caregivers and patient scribe assistance during medical appointments. Volunteers also conduct activities to ensure clients are regularly visited and stay connected through friendly visits and phone calling.  VVCC also loans Guardian Angel emergency alert units to qualified adults who are at risk for falling and provide pet assistance for low income clients.
